In June 2021 KOHS participated as presentator at the workshop “Measurements with the PIMEX method”, lead by BG Bau (the German social accident insurance institution for the building trade) The workshop was part of “Fokus Gefahrstoffe 2021” a symposium organised by IFA (institute for research and testing of the German Social Accident Insurance) and BG RCI.

The workshop “Measurements with the PIMEX method” included following topics:
- Introduction to the “PIMEX method”
- Development of strategies for measurement and assessment of aerosol exposures
- Technologies for measurement of different types of aerosols (with focus on exposure at work)
- Discussion on different exposure situations entailing different assessment approaches
- Demonstration of a LIVE PIMEX-Oberservation in a real world situation
The “Fokus Gefahrstoffe 2021” further included several interesting contributions also featuring a presentation on historical aspects of occupational health in Germany.
