Human Factors, AI and Monitoring in Ergonomics and Safety
The 37th Summer University on Ergonomics will take place in Budapest, at Óbuda University, between 1–3 July 2026.
This year’s Summer University focuses on the changing role of ergonomics and human factors in the age of artificial intelligence, human monitoring, digital technologies, safety science and workplace applications.
The aim is to connect education, research and practice. The program will discuss how human-centred approaches, measurement methods, AI-supported tools and monitoring technologies can support healthier, safer and more effective work systems.
The Summer University is organized by Hungarian Ergonomics Society, Austrian Ergonomics Association. Further the conference is supported by the Technical Committee for Safety and Health of the International Ergonomics Association (IEA) and FEES (Federation of the European Ergonomics Societies).
