KOHS co-hosted an expert workshop on evaluation in occupational health (OH) (Vienna, 2024-10-08).
KOHS presented experience in the evaluation of health promotion projects (in different sectors) as well as the concept of evaluation of the efficacy of interventions in occupational health (OH) by visualising exposures using the PIMEX method.
This concept of the evaluation of interventions in OH has been discussed firstly @ the „Forum Prävention“1 in Austria in 2006.
The inputs from KOHS covers the experience from performing PIMEX interventions with the ability of aquiring data and information in order to identify suitable parameters for the evaluaton of OH interventions, which has to be seen in fact as change processes.
These two different types of evaluation further had been integrated and presented as „analysing and controlling instrument based on the visualisation of risks at work“ @ the DeGeVal congress2 in 2008.
The evaluation of the output and outcome of interventions in OH is still an interesting field of research (in ergonomics).
